i'm going to get changed now and walk downstairs and lay down on the couch and go to sleep. and you're not going to nudge me when my alarms go off because you're not here and so they can't annoy you when i don't turn them off quick enough.

you're not going to fall asleep while i'm brushing my teeth and scrubbing my face. you're not going to have squinty eyes and sleepy voice telling me to have a good day.

you're not going to steal my pillow to curl up with and make a pillow nest because my mattress is too hard.

you're not going to miss me. and in return, i won't not miss you.
