spent the day dealing with a stolen credit card number. joy. the people using the stolen numbers are having a sociopathic episode; behaving as a sociopath might. the people who breached target and stole the numbers may or may not be, they are showing flaws in security but to then sell them is unnecessary. i'll be fine. nothing of mine was taken and nothing of mine will be ultimately impacted, but i'm not living paycheck to paycheck, with a family, and bills.

i deplore the system and it needs to be exposed. i dislike that holidays are just corporate profit days, nothing more. and that beyond that it's not enough to just give a gift, it has to be expensive enough to imply X relative to everyone else. but the level of greed involved in something like this is annoying. a price of massive inequality it seems.
