i think the phrase like riding a bike doesn't really apply for me. i can go years between rides and be fine, which is the point. i get it. but the things one would compare it to, don't work that way for me. it would only work if each bike had completely different mechanisms for locomotion and steering. like a vertical pole instead of handlebars and a trombone tube type forward movement system. [no, i don't even know what i'm talking about.] in which case they would cease to be bikes. my point is, fuck that simile, it's always new.
