i was thinking about how easy it is, at times to become hung up on someone. and how it can be difficult to manually distance oneself from that feeling. the juxtaposition can be unfortunate. perhaps it is like a fish on a line. it is possible for the fish to get away, it happens all the time. but once hooked the escape is rarely clean.
