i was at the dentist last week and a woman commented on my cologne; one of the women at the front desk. of course she was 60+/-, so..


i also changed my brakes last week and i still have brake dust/grease embedded in my fingerprints in places.

two or three or four years ago when i last changed them i got some brake dust in a cut and ended up with it under my skin, and some of it is still there. it apparently takes a long time to be metabolized or worn away.

i'm not interested in waiting out another brake change. i think this is a fitting metaphor.
