why do popeye and bluto/brutus constantly fight over olive oyl? she's a two-timer at best, demanding, bossy, not attractive [in my opinion, though she is two-dimensional], and has perhaps the most annoying voice of any cartoon woman i've ever heard. i don't know if orange juice is the answer [see: recent advert], but i think they'd be much better off if everything was purely platonic.

me auto is headed into the shop this morning, and i'm a bit worried. there shouldn't be any problems, and hopefully i'll get her back in better shape than the current one. but if they were (for some strange reason) unable to remedy her current ailments, this could not only be the beginning of the end of a nice little car of mine, but also spell the end of my canvas for quality stickers. which would be a tragedy on two levels, the first being that i have new stickers to put on that i am waiting to do until i wash it again. and secondly, that i've got quite a few stickers that would be close to impossible to replace, unfortunately. i'm assuming all will go well though, and she should come back much quieter, more comfortable for the summer months (if you catch me drift), and sporting a new windscreen to boot. won't she be cute..

i don't like fruit pies. none. not cobblers or crisps either. also i don't care for it canned fruit. it has to be fresh, room temperature or below, and not previously cooked or in some sort of syrup. i like the piecrust from apple pies however, with all that flaky sugary apple-cinnamon taste. i like chocolate pies, pumpkin pies, and (pardon) pizza pies. but keep the fruit in its skin or peel and on the table please.

i'm looking forward to having a nice banana when i wake up.
